PYD calls on French authorities to reveal perpetrators of Paris massacre

 The General Council of the Democratic Union Party issued a statement posted on its official website regarding the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation against the Kurdish people in the French capital, Paris.

 The text of the statement read:

 Once again, fascism reveals its ugly face by committing a heinous mass massacre in the French capital, Paris, targeting a Kurdish cultural association in an armed attack that claimed the lives of three and four wounded Kurdish activists in the heart of the capital of culture, art, and the values ​​of democracy and human rights. This crime comes as the tenth anniversary of the targeting of female activists approaches.  The three Kurdish women, Sakina Cansiz, Fidan Dogan, and Leila Shailmes, in 2013 and also in the capital, Paris, which suggests who benefits from committing these crimes against the Kurds.

 Turkish fascism seeks, through its intelligence arms in Europe in general and France in particular, targeting Kurdish activists who believe in democracy, coexistence, and women's freedom, to drive a wedge between the Kurds and the French government to achieve its goals in undermining the Kurdish gains in Rojava, northern and eastern Syria, its Autonomous Administration, and the forces of  Democratic Syria, which is allied with Western countries, led by the United States of America and France, in the international coalition to fight ISIS.  Just as Turkish fascism was behind the assassination of the three female activists in 2013, it is certain that it is also behind this crime that shames humanity and puts France to the test of its democratic and human values.

 We in the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) condemn and denounce this heinous crime. We call on the French authorities to conduct a transparent investigation and to reveal the parties behind this crime.  At the same time, we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, affirming our determination and adherence to democratic values, freedom and brotherhood of peoples. The Turkish fascism, which targets the Kurds everywhere and tries to undermine their gains, will not achieve its aggressive and occupation goals in northern and eastern Syria and Başûr Kurdistan.

 Glory to the martyrs, shame and disgrace to Turkish fascism and its arms.
