TEV-DEM holds French government responsible for Paris massacre, calls for escalation of struggle

 The Democratic Society Movement issued a statement regarding the massacre that targeted the Kurds in the French capital, Paris, today, and resulted in the death of three people and the wounding of others.

 The text of the statement read.

"After the European Court of Justice evaded its moral responsibility to remove the PKK from the terrorist list, despite the court many documents proving the party's innocence of terrorism. But the court's decision came under the influence of the Turkish fascist government and some governments that had a role in the implementation scheme  international conspiracy.

 Therefore, the court insisted that the party remain on the list of terrorism, which paved the way for activating the Turkish fascist intelligence networks to conspire against the will of our Kurdish people in European cities, coinciding with the policy of attacking members and parliamentarians of the Democratic Peoples’ Party in Turkey and Bakur Kurdistan, using live bullets against the Ahmed Kaya Center for Culture and Art in the broad daylight and in the center of Paris, which caused the death of three Kurdish patriots, including the artist Mir Parwer, and the serious injury of three others.

Another massacre is added to the record of the French capital, Paris. We consider it an extension of the Paris massacre of 2013, in which three of the vanguards of our revolution, Sakinah, Fidan, and Laila, were killed.  Here, it should be noted that there is joint and systematic coordination between the Turkish and French intelligence networks to strike and suppress the will of our people and our friends in all European cities that support Guerrilla resistance and the will of the people in the region.

 We, in the Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM, hold the French government fully responsible, which has failed a lot in exposing the criminals of the 2013 massacre. Rather, the government has increased its support and coordination with Turkish fascism, which caused a new massacre, and this is a disgrace to humanity.

 We also call on our Kurdish people everywhere to mobilize, escalate resistance and will to join the peaceful protests to expose these conspiratorial policies to target our people in European cities.

 We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, our Kurdish people in general, and our people in Europe in particular, and we wish a speedy recovery for the wounded."
