Yazd Prison's Administration in Iran refused to transfer the detained Kurdish politician, Zeynab Jalalian to the hospital, despite her deteriorating health in the prison.

According to NUJINHA agency the Yazd prison administration refused to transfer the Kurdish political detainee Zeynab Jalalian to the hospital for treatment.

The Kurdish politician suffers from health problems, such as kidney disease, respiratory diseases, and poor eyesight, as lack of medical care, in addition to the psychological repression and torture.

On March 11, 2008, Iranian state intelligence services arrested Kurdish politician Zeynab on charges of "terrorism, illegal leaving the country, illegal possession of weapons, and membership in the Kurdistan Free Life Party."

Zeynab who was sentenced to life imprisonment was transferred from Khoy prison to Kermanshah, and then to Qarchak prison in Varamin, and now she is in Yazd prison.
