​​​​​​​Protesters of Al-Suwayda demand toppling the regime, improvement of living conditions

The city of Al-Suwayda witnessed a great security tension, after protesters attacked the "Saraya" building of the Damascus government with stones, while some young men stormed it and tore the picture of Bashar al-Assad on its facade, and demanded "the overthrow of the regime."

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the protesters burned a security car and damaged other cars, after the security forces entered the crowd of demonstrators and fired bullets to disperse the protesters in the city.

The protesters moved from Al-Mashnaqa roundabout, the main center of the protests, to Al-Seer Square in the center of Al-Suwayda, and set rubber tires on fire.

Protesters in the demonstration denounced the poor living conditions, raised banners and chanted slogans calling for improvement living conditions.

This comes after dozens of citizens gathered in the al-Mashnaqa roundabout square in the center of the city of Al-Suwayda to protest against the deteriorating living conditions and  failure of the Damascus government to secure the basic necessities of life in the city.
