Berivan Khaled: our people will uphold to the self-defense right

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of NE Syria, Berivan Khaled, condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria, stressing that "our people will adhere to the option of self-defense as a legitimate option to protect their areas, institutions, and gains."

This came during a statement by the co-chair of the Executive Council in the Autonomous Administration of NE Syria, Berivan Khaled to ANHA agency.

She said: "The Turkish state, after continuous threats, attacked our areas through warplanes; this attack comes after Turkish policy failed in Syria as a result of Turkish practices that made chaos in Syria and the region."

Khaled condemned the Turkish attacks "Turkish fascist aggression on our regions, " calling on international powers to take responsible positions about the attacks.

She stressed that "the Turkish aggression will lead to a devastating war on the whole of Syria and will be the beginning of a new opportunity for terrorism to reorganize itself, which will lead to serious repercussions."

She also explained that "the silence of international powers with the continuation of Turkish aggression confirms its collusion with Turkey, and this will effect on our war against ISIS and its sleeper cells".

Berivan Khaled, stressed that "our people will uphold to the option of self-defense as a legitimate option to protect their areas, institutions, and gains. We pledge to our people that in the Autonomous Administration of NE Syria we will continue to protect the gains of our people, and defend them against any attacks."
