Autonomous administration in Euphrates region thanks the peoples of the world for their support to Kobani resistance

The Democratic Autonomous Administration in Euphrates region thanked the peoples of the world who supported the resistance of Kobani, and appealed to them to continue supporting the resistance.

Today, the first of November, marks the International Day of Solidarity with the Resistance of Kobani during ISIS attacks on Kobani between 2014-2015.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration in Euphrates region, on Tuesday morning, delivered a statement in which it reads:

"On the first of November 2014, all the peoples of the world stood in solidarity and united together to support the capital of resistance" Kobani", where millions of demonstrators from different countries came out, holding the flags of people's Protection Units and women's Protection Units, chanting slogans condemning ISIS attacks on Kobani, calling on the international community to intervene and take urgent actions to support the resistance of Kurdish people

On that historic day, the organizers of the global demonstration issued a statement about making the first of November an International Day of Solidarity with Kobani, and therefore millions of people came out in massive demonstrations in most countries of the world to adopt the resistance of Kobani.

The International Day of Kobani has played an important role in order to transfer Rojava Revolution to the world and to turn it into a trench of struggle for the rest of humanity, in this way, it supported Rojava Revolution and contributed to the victories achieved so far, and made a historic task in transfer the struggle of Kurdish people to all revolutionary and democratic forces in the world.

The victory achieved in Kobani was due to the will and strength of the fighters of YPG\YPJ, and the support of the peoples all over the world, the millions of demonstrators who demonstrated from all over the world to support Kobani played an important role to draw attention to Rojava Revolution as a revolution of freedom and democracy and its strategic role to eliminate the enemy of all humanity ISIS.

The Kurdish people will not forget this day, and will play an important role in the international struggle in the 21 Century, this resistance thwarted the plans of ISIS and its supporters, Kobani won and was liberated, and today Kobani is the example of resistance in the world, therefor, the first of November can't be considered a day of support for Kobani or for the Kurdish people only, but it is to support all the oppressed peoples and the peoples of Middle East, because supporting the resistance of Kobani means supporting the struggle of democracy and freedom for the peoples of Middle East, without this support from the peoples of the world, the resistance of Kobani wouldn't have won in this legendary way.

The spirit of Kobani resistance played the most prominent role in the liberation of Gire Spî and Manbij and the formation of Syrian Democratic Forces, joined by the sons and daughters of all components of north and eastern Syria, which together defeated the mercenaries of ISIS and eliminated it militarily and geographically, which terrified extremist forces, foremost of which is the Justice and Development Party, which rushed to intervene directly and occupied parts of northern Syria starting from Jarablus to Afrin, fearing that the defeat of ISIS would culminate in a victory for the Democratic project of the region' peoples.

After the people in NE Syria stand with SDF and adopted their democratic project of Autonomous-Administration, this caused panic to the Turkish regime, so this time, Turkey rushed to launch a new invasion on north and east Syria by targeting and occupying Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî in an attempt to avenge the defeat of ISIS and prevent the success of any democratic project in the region.

The resistance of Kobani strengthened the friendship of the world with the Kurds, and in order to be partners in this victory, the peoples went to Kobani, this victory made the world aware of the truth of Kurdish issue, women's resistance, and the Kurdish freedom movement. On the other hand, the hostility against the Kurds was thwarted, and it was a major blow to the genocidal policies against the Kurds.

Kobani played an important role not only for the Kurdish people, but for all the peoples of the world, and this resistance and its spirit are still continuing, in this spirit the resistance continues in NE Syria in the face of Turkish attacks, which is accompanied by ISIS mercenaries and Jabhat al-Nusra in an attempt to avenge the defeat of ISIS by Syrian Democratic Forces.

Therefore, just as Kobani won, which made the whole world stand in solidarity with it, the resistance of dignity in NE Syria will win in the spirit of Kobani and in global solidarity with it as well.
