World has shown solidarity with Rojava in face of ISIS, it must do same in confronting  its godfather

Despite the great global solidarity with the historical resistance in Kobani and the contribution to destroying the wall of terror created by ISIS in Syria and Iraq, the city of Kobani and the revolution in Rojava are still facing the danger of the main supporter of ISIS and mercenary groups;  the Turkish state.

The historical battle in Kobani was a victory for humanity. It became a symbol of the internationalist resistance against the brutality of ISIS mercenaries, backed by regional countries, led by Turkey, failed to occupy countries under the false Islamic cover and revive the Ottoman Caliphate, so that Turkey itself would play that role after eliminating ISIS geographically.

Since the announcement of the official emergence of ISIS in Syria and Iraq;  The Turkish state has not stopped its support for those groups that are fighting in the context of the occupation of the northern parts of the two countries and their annexation of Turkish lands and the end of the democratic project in north and east Syria, where ISIS played a part of that game;  Until the failure of the ISIS scheme, which led to the Turkish state entering directly into the Syrian war and occupying large areas under the pretext of protecting its "national security".

The machine of killing and destruction has hardly stopped since the emergence of ISIS to this day.  The Turkish occupation attack on Syrian territory only came within the framework of deepening the crisis in Syria, killing and displacing Syrians over the years that followed the geographical end of ISIS. The Turkish state is seeking to achieve the goals that ISIS failed to achieve despite the massive Turkish support for it and before that for Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Free Army.

The battle of Kobani... and an unprecedented international unity

As soon as ISIS penetrated the majority of Kobani neighborhoods in October 2014, thousands of Kurds gathered on the border from different areas in Bakur (Northern Kurdistan) to express their solidarity with the resistance.

Dozens of fighters in the neighborhoods of the city of Kobani resisted the expansion of the global threat “ISIS” in the Syrian geography. Soon, the peoples of dozens of countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America sympathized with them in an unprecedented international way.

The attack that ISIS began on September 15, 2014 was considered;  From 3 axes towards the city of Kobani, one of the largest attacks launched by ISIS while it was active in Syria and Iraq, with the participation of thousands of mercenaries from around the world.

Turkey turned the compass of ISIS towards the northernmost canton of Kobani, after Kobani, along with the cantons of Al-Jazera and Afrin, announced the Autonomous Administration in Rojava, which angered the Turkish state and other regional countries.

Declaration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Kobani Resistance

The general mobilization announced by leader Abdullah Ocalan from his prison on Imrali Island, calling on the Kurdish community to defend Kobani, constituted a decisive turning point in the battle, which the Kurds considered "fateful."

Dozens of cities in northern Kurdistan and Turkey witnessed massive uprisings and demonstrations against the position of the Turkish state in support of ISIS in the battles taking place in Kobani, where 53 civilians lost their lives in those protests.

The battle in Kobani coincided with daily bloody scenes in European and Asian cities and in the Middle East at the hands of ISIS and its supporters, as the peoples of the world realized the danger of ISIS’s occupation of the city.  Cities of Latin America, Asia and Europe called on governments to act as dozens of fighters defended the last neighborhoods of the city of Kobani.  Dozens of international men and women fighters also engaged in the Kobani resistance.

Where the organizers of the global demonstrations issued a statement about making the 1st of November a Global Day of solidarity with Kobani, according to which millions of people went out in massive demonstrations from Afghanistan to Ecuador, from Canada to Australia, to adopt the Kobani resistance under the slogan "Global mobilization for Kobani".  and humanity against ISIS.

The Day of Solidarity with Kobani was declared on the 1st of November;  Demonstrations swept the main roads in major cities around the world, airports, and in front of Turkish embassies, denouncing Turkey's direct support for ISIS.

In light of SDF preoccupation with ending ISIS geographically...Turkey occupies Syrian territories with an American green light

Only 4 years passed since the liberation of the city of Kobani, until the Syrian Democratic Forces announced the defeat of ISIS in the country after the destruction of its last strongholds in the town of Al-Baghouz in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria on the border with Iraq, in March 2019, a year and a half after the liberation of the city of Raqqa,  the alleged capital of ISIS.

Turkey could not accept the collapse of its ally ISIS in front of its eyes at the hands of the people of the region, as it launched an aggression against the Afrin canton in January 2018, months after the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated the city of Raqqa, the alleged capital of ISIS. Turkey and its mercenary groups displaced hundreds of thousands of Kurds and Arabs from their homes in retaliation for ISIS.

Turkey resumed its aggression, as it launched a brutal attack targeting the border areas of Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain and Gire Spi / Tal Abyad, on the 9th of October 2019, with an American green light after the latter withdrew from large areas of northeastern Syria;  Months after the defeat of ISIS in Baghouz, the aggression led to the occupation of the two regions despite the historical resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The level of global solidarity with the Syrians who are facing the brutality of Turkey, the main supporter of ISIS, has decreased, and although the Turkish aggression towards the Afrin canton and the regions of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî was more brutal and bloody. The ISIS participated in it alongside the Turkish soldiers in attacking these Syrian areas, the international powers did not move about  the largest displacement and demographic change in the Middle East in the twenty-first century.

Turkey repeats the experience of ISIS in northern Syria in preparation for new, more violent attacks against the Autonomous Administration

It was not surprising that ISIS leaders were killed near the Turkish border, despite the denial of the occupation state knowing that they were there. According to reports, 30,000 international mercenaries from the Uyghurs, Chechens and Turkmens are guarded by Turkey in Idlib and the occupied areas. They move between the occupied areas and Turkey without any restrictions.

At a time when the Turkish state is a springboard for thousands of mercenaries towards Syria, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and North Africa, the circle of danger is expanding against all countries of the world.

Turkey is moving to impose the control of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, the arm of al-Qaeda in Syria, in an intelligence game to impose a cordon of “Islamic jihadist movements” around the areas of the Autonomous Administration in conjunction with the occupation state’s support for ISIS cells in al-Hol camp, prisons, and desert areas in Deir Ezzor, to strike northern and eastern Syria from the inside.

Turkey and its allies... Unstoppable attacks against Kobani and the democratic revolution in Rojava

Turkish drones targeted 16 times populated areas in Kobani canton over a period of 3 years, and a number of citizens were martyred as a result of the air strikes.

In addition, the city and its border villages are not spared from Turkish targeting with missiles, missiles and even warplanes used by the occupying power against the people in Kobani canton, with the aim of terrorizing them.

This comes at a time when Turkish officials, led by Erdogan, have always threatened to launch an aggression targeting the Kobani canton, taking advantage of the silence of international forces and human rights organizations that seemed to be the opposite of what they were during the ISIS attack on Kobani.

The revolution in Rojava, northern and eastern Syria, is taking another turn, which is the most dangerous. The international and international silence towards Turkish crimes committed against citizens and the processes of demographic change in the occupied areas in northern Syria has become worrisome in light of the continuing situation as it is, and given Turkey's subversive role in the Middle East.

The revolution in Rojava, which started from Kobani, is still a moral source for the democratic project, which is shining with its light around the world. The International Day of Solidarity with Kobani was the spark of the Union of Nations to protect the democratic revolution taking place in Rojava in light of the chaos that afflicts the Middle East.

International and international disregard for the reality in north and east Syria gives the occupying Turkish state the opportunity to further escalate its war in the context of the genocide of the Kurds and the peoples of the region, until it reached the point of excessive use of chemical weapons and internationally prohibited weapons in the bombing of northern Syria and the mountains of Kurdistan.
