Kongra Star in Damascus holds its annual meeting

The meeting was attended by nearly 50 members of Kongra Star in the Zour Ava neighborhood in the Syrian capital, Damascus. The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, followed by the reading of the directives of leader Abdullah Ocalan by the spokeswoman for the Kongra Star Council in Damascus, Mazkin Anas.

This was followed by a reading of the annual report by the member of the Council, Nowruz Khalil, which included the work and activities of Kongra Star in Damascus, and a discussion about the latest developments in the political arena, and the reality of women.

In a related context, the council's administrator, Rajm Yusef, spoke about the status of women and the life problems that limit their struggle.

The members also committed themselves to criticism and self-criticism, to develop their struggle and better organize their ranks during the next stage.

The meeting ended with chanting revolutionary slogans that revive the resistance of leader Ocalan in Imrali prison.
