Democratic Islam Conference calls on deterrent stance on Turkey's crimes

The Democratic Islam Conference in North and East Syria called on international religious institutions to show a deterrent stance on Turkey's use of chemical weapons.

On Thursday, the Democratic Islam Conference in North and East Syria made a statement to the public opinion, in which it condemned Turkey's use of chemical weapons on the legitimate defense areas in southern Kurdistan (Bashur).

The statement of the Democratic Islam Conference was read at the Academy of Democratic Islam located in the Khaleej neighborhood in Qamishlo city, by the member of the conference, Muhammad Saeed.

The statement said: "God created man and gave him rights and duties, and one of his duties is to defend his religion, honor and land, the most important of which is the right to live in peace,

Allah in his holy book says ( who ever killed a soul, except for a soul slain, or for sedition in the earth, it should be considered as though he had killed all mankind; and that who ever saved it should be regarded as though he had saved all mankind ).

It continued, "What the Turkish army has carried out with internationally prohibited weapons on the fighters of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in the legitimate defense areas is a heinous crime and a shame for humanity, nations and peace advocates."

The conference called on "the United Nations and human rights institutions to stand up to the Turkish state and prevent it from immoral military attacks using chemical weapons.
