YPG: 31 soldiers and mercenaries of Turkish occupation killed and wounded

Today, the Media Center of the People's Protection Units (YPG) issued a statement to the public opinion regarding the retaliatory operations against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, in the occupied areas. The operations were in retaliation for the leaders Rojat Karakogan and Dogan Amanos.

The statement read:

" On September 16, Turkish drone targeted the town of Ain Issa, which caused the martyrdom of two of our leading comrades, Rojat Karakogan and Dogan Amanos. In response to these attacks our forces carried out five reprisals on the days of "16, 18, 20, and 21" of this September in the occupied territories.

The outcome of the five operations was as follows: /8/ soldiers of the Turkish occupation were killed, and the Turkish occupation forces were unable to retrieve their bodies, and they were later transferred by the villagers.

An armored military vehicle and a point for the Turkish occupation soldiers were also destroyed, in addition to killing 11 mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, and wounding of 12 others.

The seized weapons are:

- AK-47 weapons 4

- AK-47 magazines 2

- Weapons "B-7" 1

- Night binoculars 1

- Daytime binoculars 1

The Ministry of Defense of the Turkish occupation state published misleading news regarding the number of our martyrs, and claimed that during the last four days, 38 fighters of our forces were martyred.
