​​​​​​​ large crowd in Aleppo condemns massacres of Turkish occupation

 In response to the attacks and threats of the Turkish occupation on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, Kongra Star and the Council of Martyrs' Families, in coordination with the Democratic Society Training and Education Committee, organized a mass demonstration condemning these violations under the slogan "The Turkish government is an occupier, not an occupation."

 Hundreds of families, internal security forces, essential protection and civil institutions participated in the demonstration in the western part of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo.

 The demonstrators carried pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the flags of the Martyrs' Families Council.  The children also carried placards that read, “We demand to live freely in our homeland without war and death,” “We are the future, do not kill the future,” Erdogan is the killer of children’s dreams, “Erdogan is the nature killer,” “Erdogan is the killer of women,” and “Erdogan is a war criminal.” 

 The participants condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation and the massacre committed against the people of Tel Rifaat, all the way to the Seven Martyrs Square located in the eastern part of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo.

 After standing for a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, the Martyrs' Families Council and Kongra Star made a public opinion statement, which was read in Arabic by Fatima Ibo, a member of the Martyrs' Families Council, and in Kurdish by the member of Kongra Star, Zilan Sheikho.

 The text of the statement stated:

 "The Turkish occupation state, in particular, has recently exceeded all humanitarian standards, values ​​and principles of the rights of groups and individuals, disregarding the articles, purposes and contents of the United Nations pillars."

 The statement added: "The Turkish occupation repeats the scenario of the Ottoman Sultanate by carrying out massacres and exterminations against the indigenous peoples of the region, the Kurds, Arabs, Armenians, Syriacs and Assyrians."

 The statement referred to Turkey's targeting of children as well. "Today, Turkey practices various types of genocide against our people at all cultural, social, economic and political levels, and has made school children the target of its brutality."

 The statement condemned and denounced all the practices of the Turkish state against women fighters, women fighters and political activists in recent times, "they are the ones who have proven and represented the will of women and society and affirmed the right to self-determination since the July 19 revolution."

 The statement also called on Russia and America, which have signed ceasefire agreements with Turkey since 2019, to force it through these agreements to stop its aggression.  He called on the United Nations and the international community to shoulder their responsibilities and put an end to the Turkish occupation.

 In conclusion, the statement emphasized that by following the path of the martyrs and martyrs, "they are our moral leaders."

 The demonstration ended with chanting slogans that salute the resistance of the People's Protection Units, women and guerrillas, and glorify the sacrifices of the martyrs.
