Jazira people praise 2nd stage of “Humanity and Security” campaign

Cases of killings and attempts to escape have recently increased in al-Hol camp 45 km east of the city of al-Hasakah in North and East Syria, which is described as the most dangerous camp in the world, in conjunction with the escalation of threats and attacks by the Turkish occupation state on the region.

Since the beginning of this year, ISIS mercenary cells have carried out 43 terrorist operations, in which they killed 44 people, including 14 women and two children, most of whom are camp residents, using various methods of execution, torture and shooting using weapons equipped with a silencer, 13 attempts to kidnap residents, 31 escape attempts, and 14 attempts the target was killed and injured, according to the latest statistics of the Internal Security Forces and the camp administration.

The camp also witnessed the burning of 23 tents and their sleeping residents, and the destruction of relief materials and supplies of medical and service institutions, with the aim of causing chaos and attempting to remove the security barriers surrounding the camp, according to the same statement by the Internal Security Forces issued on August 25.

The operations carried out by ISIS mercenaries within the camp affected the Internal Security Forces and the workers of the organizations. The ISIS cell targeted an Internal Security Forces patrol on March 28, and threatened the workers of the organizations concerned with lighting the camp on June 14.

Al-Hol camp includes 55,194 people, including 18,859 Syrians, among 4,997 families, 28,438 Iraqis, among 7,588 families, and 7,897 foreigners, all children and women, among 2,373 families of 54 foreign nationalities distributed in 9 sectors, according to recent statistics obtained by our correspondent today, from the Administration of the camp.

As a result of all these events and the increased movements of ISIS mercenaries in the al-Hol camp and the chaos events, yesterday, Thursday, the General Command of the Internal Security Forces, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces, launched the second phase of the "humanitarian and security" campaign in the camp.

Citizen Hani Hamza, resident of Qamishlo city, believes that "the campaign launched by the General Command of the Internal Security Forces is somewhat positive," and added, "But it is not enough, and the concerned countries must try them, and return their nationals who are in the camps of North, East and Syria."

Hamza stressed that Al-Hol camp is a "ticking time bomb" prepared to explode at any moment, and that it poses a great danger to the people of north, east and Syria, calling on the community and international forces to establish an international court in the region to try ISIS mercenaries and end its file.

Citizen Radwan Saeed from Derik agrees with Hani Hamza that Al-Hol camp poses a great danger to the region because it contains sleeper cells and families of ISIS mercenaries, considering that this affects the security and stability of the region and poses a threat to the lives of citizens.

Saeed criticized the failure of the international community to carry out their responsibilities towards the ISIS file, calling for the need to establish an international court to try them in north and east Syria.

Turkey and ISIS are harmonious moves

The citizen Sheikhmus Hassan, from the city of Hasaka, linked the Turkish threats to the movements of ISIS cells inside the al-Hol camp, saying: "Turkish threats against the areas of north and east Syria revive and provide an opportunity for ISIS mercenaries to move."

Hassan called on the international community and forces to put an end to the threats and attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the regions of north, east and Syria and to hold Turkey accountable for its crimes, so that the danger of ISIS on the region would end, stressing that ending the danger should not be limited to the operations of the Internal Security Forces and the SDF.

Citizen Hadiya Ahmed, who lives in the city of Derik, also called on the community and international forces to assume their responsibilities regarding the ISIS file and to find a quick solution to the ISIS issue, and not to stand by and watch the recovery of ISIS, without offering radical solutions.
