Tel Rifaat district council condemns Turkish attacks on Tel Rifaat’s citizens

In a verbal statement, Tel Rifaat district council condemned the Turkish occupation army attack on the district center, which resulted in martyrs and wounded, including children and women, stressing that the guarantor forces and the Damascus government are a partner of the Turkish occupation in its crimes.

Today, the Tel Rifaat District Council made a statement, with the participation of dozens of members of civil councils and institutions, in addition to dozens of citizens, at the location of the bombing in Tal Rifaat district read by the co-chair of the Tel Rifaat District Council, Muhammad Hanan.

The statement stated, "Turkish army expelled the people of Afrin from their land and made a demographic change in Afrin in order to erase their Kurdish identity, but no matter, the people of Afrin are resisting all these schemes."

Hanan called on "the concerned international bodies and those who claim to protect human rights and the Syrian government not to remain silent about the Turkish attacks, which claim that they attack terrorism and on this basis always kill defenseless civilians."

He added, "Terrorism is the Turkish state and the one that sponsors terrorism is the Turkish state. Russia, which is a guarantor state, remains silent about Turkish attacks and does not play its required role in preventing the Turkish state from targeting civilians.

The people of Afrin, will continue to resist the bombing of the occupiers, this brutality will make us increase our determination in the struggle to liberate Afrin from the hands of terrorism."

In the end, the attendees chanted slogans denouncing the Turkish bombing.
