Political parties call on Damascus govt to heed Syrian demands away from any reconciliation with Turkish regime

These demands came during a statement delivered at a press conference at the Center for Diplomatic Studies and Consultations in Qamishlo city, today.

The statement was read in Arabic by the co-chair of the Syriac Union Party, Sanharib Barsoum, and in Kurdish, by the co-chair of the Democratic Green Party, Luqman Ahmi.

The statement referred to the negative role played by the forces hostile to the Syrian people, foremost of which is the Turkish occupation state. And its use by some terrorist groups in order to achieve their interests, especially the Turkish fascist regime."

The statement pointed to the Turkish turn towards the Damascus government and the destructive role of the Astana axis (Turkey, Russia and Iran) in Syria.

The statement shed light on the popular attitudes rejecting any reconciliation between Damascus and Ankara at the expense of the Syrians.

The statement condemned any acceptance of the agendas of the Turkish occupation state, "We the parties and political forces that signed this statement strongly condemn any acceptance of the agendas of the Turkish fascist regime in agreement with the Damascus government because it does not fulfill the hopes of the Syrian people.

The statement stressed, " our military forces to defend our lands in the face of any aggression, as well as our support for the Autonomous Administration whether through dialogue with the Damascus government or other democratic forces, and that no one can bypass the will of the Syrians in the areas of the Autonomous Administration of North and East." Syria.

In conclusion, the statement called on the "Damascus government to take a serious stance to expel the Turkish occupation, as well as stand in the face of Turkish aggression in cooperation  with the Syrian Democratic Forces."
