Sheikh of Arab Bani Saeed tribe: We to stand united behind the SDF

 Sheikh Fahd Shalash spoke to our agency, commenting on the escalation of the Turkish occupation state and the pace of its attacks on north and east Syria, which led to the death and injury of dozens of citizens in full view of the world.

 Sheikh Fahd Shalash, one of the most prominent tribal sheikhs in Manbij and northern and eastern Syria, said, "We, the tribal sheikhs, strongly condemn the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation on northern and eastern Syria, which have escalated in the recent period."

 He affirmed their position in support of the Syrian Democratic Forces defending the region, "We are the sheikhs and dignitaries of the clans who stand united behind our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces in every sense of the word, and with what we have in our hands."

 He added: "The clans will participate in this war against the Turkish occupation if it continues its attacks on northern and eastern Syria."

 Regarding the goals of the recent Turkish escalation, Sheikh Fahd Shalash said: "These attacks, we call them special war, are evidence of the bankruptcy of the Turkish regime. Today, we see that the Turkish regime has sold the revolution, following up with the Syrian regime to find a solution and reconciliation."

 He continued, "The Turkish regime is on the verge of elections and will do anything to win the elections, but this regime's card has become exposed to the whole world."

 At the conclusion of his speech, Sheikh Fahd Shalash said, "Our message to our people, not only in Manbij, but in northern and eastern Syria, is that we will defend our land and will not leave it, and we will stand united behind our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and our Autonomous Administration with everything we have."
