Deaths and injuries from Damascus forces in 2 explosions in Daraa

In the details, members of the "security forces" of the Damascus government were wounded this morning, as a result of the detonation of an explosive device planted on the edge of the Al-Dali-Barqa road in the northern countryside of Daraa, coinciding with the arrival of a car carrying them to the site according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Meanwhile, a member of the "security forces" of the Damascus government was killed when an explosive device exploded in a taxi he was driving, in Al-Kashef neighborhood near Al-Sina'a roundabout in Daraa city, while ambulances went to the site of the explosion to evacuate the wounded.

Thus, the outcome of the targeting in Daraa, since the beginning of the year, according to the documentation of the Syrian Observatory, has reached 352, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and caused the death of 296 people, most of whom were civilians, members of the Damascus government, collaborators with the "security services" and "settlement" elements.

This escalation and the huge numbers of killings confirm the government’s failure to control the security situation in the Syrian areas on which the “settlements” were imposed, especially the city of Daraa, as it was subject to two settlement processes - the first was in 2018 and the second was in 2021 - where the policy of imposition and coercion turned the area into A hotbed for murders and assassinations without accountability or supervision.

Observers of the Syrian issue believe that the "settlements" that the Damascus government seeks to impose on the people do not constitute a real solution, no matter how persistent they are. Basically, it does not address the causes of the actual conflict between the government and the people.
