​​​​​​​Amina Ossi: Turkish escalation is considered as an announcement war

During the past few days, the Turkish occupation state launched violent attacks on separate areas in North and East Syria, targeting residents and service facilities with all kinds of light and heavy weapons, leaving martyrs and wounded.

About these attacks, ANHA’s agency met with the Vice co-chairmanship of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Amina Ossi, who began her speech by saying, "The Turkish attacks on the regions of North and East Syria, if they indicate anything, indicate that the Turkish occupation state, despite international objections to its attacks and the lack of giving it the green light to invade North and East Syria defies all objectors."

Amina Ossi stressed, "We in the Autonomous Administration do not consider these attacks an escalation, but rather a war declared by Turkey, and the international community in general should take this attack seriously and take the necessary measures and stop Turkey on its own, and the responsibility lies with gathering the countries concerned with the Syrian crisis, especially those on the Syrian lands.”

She added, "They must express an honest and serious stance towards the attack (Tuesday, August 17), which resulted in many martyrs and wounded, including children, women and the elderly, and targeting service facilities, and this is a terrible violation of the security of North and East Syria and the sovereignty of Syria in general."

The Deputy Executive Council said, "Since the beginning of Turkey's explicit threat to the media, the Autonomous Administration has communicated with all those concerned with the Syrian crisis, and everyone has expressed their rejection of invading the regions of North and East Syria and striking the security and stability of the region."

Amina Ossi pointed out, "Turkey, through a series of meetings with regional and international powers, tried to obtain the green light in order to achieve its expansionist goal in occupying the areas of North and East Syria, When it did not shed light on the form it desires, it resorted to the most dangerous method, which is the bombing of UAVs, through which many war crimes are committed,” indicating that the Turkish occupation state seeks to strike the Autonomous Administration project and has not abandoned its expansionist ambitions in the region.

It called on the people of North and East Syria to remain in their areas and to resort to the safe places that were prepared by the administration, as part of the measures taken by all administrations in the event of any bombing of any region in North and East Syria.

Amina Ossi explained, "The Autonomous Administration will not remain silent about these violations, but will display and document all violations within files of these violations that Turkey is carrying out on our regions."

Turkey forces us to respond, and this is a legitimate right

Deputy Executive Council Amina Ossi explained, "With these attacks on North and East Syria, Turkey forces us to respond legitimately to these attacks, and this is what we did not want, but if Turkey continues to declare war and target our areas, our military forces will perform their legitimate duty."

Amina Ossi concluded her speech by saying, "In addition to the previous appeals to the world opinion and the international community, we ask them once again to carry out their duty towards the regions of North and East Syria, these safe areas, and to take the repercussions of this attack seriously."
