Spokesman for FSP rules out possibility of resolving the Syrian crisis without AANES

 The intransigence of the Damascus government and its refusal to dialogue has prolonged the Syrian crisis, which will only be resolved with the participation of all Syrians, and meetings and conferences held abroad will not reach a solution without their presence.

 In this regard, the spokesman for the Future Syria Party, Muwaffaq al-Ahmad, spoke to our agency and said: “The international community should have activated Resolution 2254 in full and not in part, and according to the approved baskets and not prioritizing one basket over another, from the formation of the transitional government and the constitutional committee and returning the displaced to their original homeland and we support this basket if work on it is serious.”

 He added, "Resolution 2254 took a large part of the work of the Constitutional Committee, and it was not activated well, because all components of the Syrian people were not involved in this committee, and are not concerned with this committee because we are not represented in it."

 AANES is not separatist

 During his speech, Muwaffaq Al-Ahmad confirmed that there are those who say that our project is separatist and that the Autonomous Administration is a separatist movement, and added, "There are no separatist movements in north and east Syria, but rather there is a democratic project in which all components of the region participate, and this project does not appeal to Turkey and all the enemies of democracy."

 Al-Ahmad explained that there are parties who reject the Autonomous Administration in the region and accuse it of separatism.  Whoever wants secession does not listen to dialogue with the Syrian parties, "The Syrian opposition is the one who wants secession, by holding elections in northern Syria, and this is the biggest evidence of separation. And whoever calls for the unity of Syrian territories is the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria."

 One of the pillars of AANES and the party is openness to all parties

 Al-Ahmad said, "One of the pillars we rely on in the Future Syria Party and the Autonomous Administration is openness to all parties and to dialogue. He pointed out that the dialogue between the administration and the Damascus government is a Syrian affair, and foreign parties have no right to interfere in it."  If external interference in the region is positive, it is welcome, and if it is negative, it is not.

 Al-Ahmad indicated that "the Autonomous Administration is constantly seeking to involve all Syrian components in resolving the Syrian crisis, and was the first to call for Syrian-Syrian dialogue, with the participation of all parties in Syria, through conferences in north and east Syria."

 Mowaffaq Al-Ahmad concluded his speech by saying, "If the Syrian-Syrian dialogue is not based on the involvement of all components, and the project of the Autonomous Administration is not truly adopted, and all the Syrian parties present do not recognize the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Syrian crisis will not be resolved."
