​​​​​​​Doctor of Politics, International Relations: Erdogan's regime practices ethnic cleansing against components

 Turkey intensified its attacks on Northern and eastern Syria, as dozens of villages and towns were subjected to missile and artillery bombardment, in addition to the Turkish drones targeting the area with a number of raids;  It caused the death and injury of a number of citizens, members of the Internal Security Forces, fighters and leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces, during the second half of June.

 This escalation coincides with the Turkish occupation state launching threats to launch wider attacks targeting northern and eastern Syria with the aim of occupying Syrian territory.

 Turkey practices "terrorism" and racism against the Kurds

 Commenting on this, and in exclusive statements to our agency, Doctor in Politics and International Relations, Azad Diwani, said, "Turkey is a country based on racism and terrorism, and the Kurdish people are among the biggest victims of this racism and terrorism."

In the context of his speech, Diwani added, "Turkey practices this racism and terrorism against the Kurds, whether in Northern Kurdistan, colonized by Turkey, or in the Kurdish areas outside its borders."

 Diwani considered that "the repeated Turkish attacks against Rojava and northern Syria are part of a crime of aggression through which they practice ethnic cleansing of Kurds, Christians and other components of the Autonomous Administration."

 He continued, "Turkey will continue its aggression and terrorism against the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and its residents as long as there is no effective international mechanism to stop the aggression, because Erdogan's Turkish regime looks at Syria, Iraq and the rest of the Middle East countries, even parts of Greece and other European countries as colonies of the Ottoman Empire."  The defunct, whose bloody colonial inheritance is sanctified by Erdogan and his ruling party.

 Mobilizing "terrorist gangs" to achieve the Ottoman dream

 He went on to talk about the Turkish president's efforts to revive the defunct Ottoman Empire, "to realize the dream of restoring Ottoman control over Syria and Iraq by creating and exploiting chaos and violence, Erdogan's regime continues to mobilize terrorist gangs such as ISIS, Al-Nusra and the Muslim Brotherhood."

 He continued, "The Erdogan regime sees the stability and peaceful coexistence on which the Autonomous Administration is based as an obstacle that must be destroyed, to reach the Arab depth in Syria and Iraq, and even beyond that to the oil-rich Gulf states, where the Ottoman colonial imagination of Erdogan and his party goes."

 On the mechanisms of stopping Turkish crimes and holding Turkish officials accountable for them, Diwani said that "the matter depends on the existence of a specialized institution affiliated with the Autonomous Administration, which documents the Turkish ISIS crimes committed against the residents of Rojava and northern Syria, and finds a mechanism to file lawsuits or submit complaints to the relevant international bodies."

He added, "Erdogan's regime is committing a crime of aggression against northern Syria, and is systematically working on ethnic cleansing of Kurds, Christians, Yazidis and Alawites in northern Syria. Since the number of crimes is large and the mechanism of their implementation is systematic, it is difficult to follow them legally without the presence of a specialized institution that has the ability to study, document and follow up."

 Azad Diwani said that "the choice lies in the existence of a diplomatic institution for the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, which invests energies to urge international parties to continue to take positions that serve stability and investment in the region. Unfortunately, there is no such effective institution with the administration, while it continues  Turkey as a country and as institutions with capabilities in a systematic campaign to prepare the international ground for the practice of aggression, by studying, finding and exploiting loopholes in the positions of the concerned countries."
