Politicians: Rojava revolution changed the course of Kurdish political movement

In conjunction with the tenth anniversary of the July 19^th Revolution, politicians in the Euphrates region expressed their optimism at this revolution, which changed the course of the Kurdish political movement, and gave the people of the region the opportunity to rise after more than a quarter of a century of authoritarianism as a result of the grip of the Ba 'ath security authority.

Member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Syria "Parti" Ferman Hussein, said: "The July 19^th Revolution was a people's revolution with distinction, starting from scratch, trying to organize its life, putting the social foot and foundations of institutions, and becoming the components, especially the Kurdish component, that began to speak in their mother tongue after years of authoritarianism."

He added: "We can confidently say that the Rojava revolution changed the course of the restricted Kurdish political movement. Before it, the situation of political parties, specifically Kurdish, was tragic, as the members of the parties were chased by the security forces, they were held in prisons without knowing the charge against them, and as the revolution changed everything; The parties have open premises where their members work freely. The parties have their relations and public meetings. "

"The Rojava revolution proved that the blood of the martyrs was not in vain. Today we have an administration, in which the people themselves run, in which political parties participate, not one party, as the Ba 'ath party ran the power before the Rojava revolution."

Hussein concluded by saying, "Kurdish political parties have identified themselves through the Rojava revolution, established the right infrastructure for themselves, and today political parties are required to work together to be eligible for autonomous administration, and together we remember the repression that we were subjected to by the Syrian regime to use this historic opportunity that we had."

Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party PYD of Euphrates, Saleh Noah, said: "When we assess what the Rojava revolution has provided to the people of the region, we remember the injustice that was being inflicted on the people as a result of the Syrian regime's security grip, this revolution was a historic step for the people of the region yearning for freedom."

"What distinguished our revolution from the rest of the world is that it was the revolution to defend the usurped rights of oppressed peoples in the region. It became an example for all the world through the people's taking of the revolutionary people's war as a path for it. It proved to the Syrian regime that there is a people fighting on this land, and it will not give up no matter what injustice befalls it.”

In conclusion, Saleh Noah appealed to the people of the region to preserve the gains of the revolution so that all components could live peacefully through the fraternity of peoples’ project; Because the stage at which we have reached a historic stage, today the children of all components are fighting the enemy in one front.”
