Iraqi Government sends a delegation to investigate the Zakho massacre

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al -Kazemi decided to send a high -level military delegation headed by the Iraqi Foreign Minister to Zakho District in Southern Kurdistan to see the reasons for the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation army against civilians this afternoon.

In a written statement, the Iraqi Security Media Cell stated that the Iraqi Prime Minister intends to send a high-level military delegation headed by the Iraqi Foreign Minister to Zakho district in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), to see the facts of the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation army against civilians this afternoon, which resulted in the killing 9 citizens and wounding 29 others.

According to the statement, the delegation is scheduled to include the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, the Special Secretary of the Prime Minister and the Commander of the Border Forces. The delegation is scheduled to conduct investigations at the scene of the massacre and then visit the injured in hospitals.
