Gerîla TV published footage of the weapons seized by Guerilla which were in the possession of the Turkish soldier Naci Kaygısız whose family had been invited by HPH to receive his body through civilian mediation.

HPG's Media Center said that, "Guerilla forces carried out a qualitative operation on July 7, at 08:15, against the soldiers of the Turkish occupation army while they were trying to advance towards the war trenches in the hill of Girê Martyr Pîrdoxan, located in the Resistance Square in Amediyê, which resulted in killing 2 Turkish soldiers. "

The materials seized by guerrillas from Naci Kaygısız and Nurettin Tokyürek include the following: 1 Glock pistol, 2 German-made HK-416 assault rifles, 2 laser pointers, 2 infrared weapon apparatus, 1 Aselsan radio and a large quantity of military ammunition.

HPG stated that Naci Kaygısız was a member of the Turkish special forces and his death was hidden from the public. HPG appealed to the family of Naci Kaygısız, stating that, “We can deliver the body of their son through civilians if they demand so. Kaygısız family can come to the Amiya district of Duhok province in Southern Kurdistan and contact us through the civilians in the region".
