The demonstration was held in Stockholm to show solidarity with the Kurdish people against the decisions issued by the NATO meeting in the Spanish capital Madrid, where Turkey imposed in exchange for its agreement to join Sweden and Finland to the alliance, according to ANF Agency.

The demonstration was organized under the auspices of the Kurdish Democratic Society Center in Sweden, under the slogan "No to Turkey's blackmailing, do not make the Kurds subject of your dirty bargains."

The co-chair of the Kurdish Democratic Society Center in Sweden, Hamid Amed, confirmed their rejection of NATO decisions and said: "Even the State of Sweden has made the Kurds a subject of bidding in order to achieve its interests."

Anna Lindh said, "The Kurds say they have no friend but the mountains, we are their friends, but these actions doesn't serve friends, the Kurds sacrificed themselves in order to defeat ISIS, so we have to show a tougher stance on this issue."

The co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress, Ahmed Karamus, also indicated that the agreement signed between Turkey, Sweden and Finland is a betrayal of the Kurds in Sweden and all Kurds, adding, "We say that the agreement signed with the dictator Erdogan is a blow to the Kurdish struggle,

Karamus continued his speech by saying, "Magdalena Anderson and Anna Lindh said in their statements about democracy and human rights, how the Kurds can be made the subject of bids with Turkey, no one can describe the Kurds as terrorists at the request of the Turkish state."

Independent parliamentarian Amina Kaka Bawa also said, "In the beginning, I salute the Kobane and Rojava resistance. The Kurds showed great resistance against ISIS. This resistance was for the sake of the whole world, but these dialogues with Turkey are a great shame for the State of Sweden.

As for the Left Party member of Parliament Daniel Riazat said, “I am Persian, I am member of the NCND-S, and I stand by Kurds and will always fight for the Kurds, and this list has been prepared for the sake of terrorism.”
