Kongra Star condemns Turkish air attack on Khana Seri

Kongra Star said in its statement, "A drone of the Turkish occupation state, at dawn today, Tuesday, June 28, 2022, targeted two civilian cars in the Derik district of Qamishlo canton, and there are civilian casualties," and added, "This is not the first time that the Turkish state has targeted civilians. before the eyes of the world."

It stated that the Turkish occupation state is trying, in various ways, through its repeated attacks and targeting of civilians, to disturb the comfort of the local population, noting that the occupier aims "from these attacks to displace the population from their land, thus achieving its "Ottoman" goals with the demographic change it is making on the Syrian lands and turning it into ruins, violating all international and humanitarian covenants and laws.”

Kongra Star criticized the silence of the international community and the world regarding "the crimes and massacres committed by the Turkish state against the peoples and humanity in north and east Syria," and said, "Until this moment, the attacks are continuing on the al-Shahba, Tal Rifaat and other areas by various means, on the ground and in the air."

At the conclusion of its statement, it called on the relevant authorities and the international community to stop the crimes and massacres of the Turkish state "in order to restore the region's security and safety, which it lost due to the arrogant attacks of the Turkish fascist state."

Earlier in the day, political parties and forces in north and east Syria called on the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS and the Russian Federation to impose an air embargo on north and east Syria; To prevent Turkish crimes, it called on the people at home to carry out pressure campaigns to hold the Turkish state accountable.
