Clashes between mercenaries in the occupied territories.. How did it break out and why?

The occupied areas in N Syria are witnessing a state of chaos as the ongoing clashes between mercenary groups with heavy and mediums, where Turkey tried to create a pretext for entry of mercenaries of HTS in the areas of Afrin and Aleppo countryside.

On Saturday morning the clashes broke out between the mercenaries of the so-called "Al-Jabha al-Shamiya and the Ahrar al-Sham movement" of the Turkish occupation in the villages of the countryside of al-Bab city, and spread to all occupied areas, starting from the city of Jarablus to the occupied villages of Afrin, because of defection of the mercenaries of the so-called "Division 32" from the mercenaries of the "Syrian Front", and joining the mercenaries of "Ahrar al-Sham al-Islamiyya".

The "Syrian Front" mercenaries launched a major military campaign against the villages in which the "Ahrar al-Sham Islamic and 32nd Division" mercenaries are stationed, in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

The "Al-Jabha al-Shamiya" mercenaries were able to expel the mercenaries of "Ahrar al-Sham and the 32nd Division" from several villages in the countryside of al-Bab city, after violent clashes, where dozens of mercenaries captured including the leader of the "Ahrar al-Sham Islamic" mercenaries, (Abu Dujana al-Kurdi

"Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra), sent huge military reinforcements to the countryside of al-Bab city to support "Ahrar al-Sham" mercenaries against the mercenaries of "Al-Jabha al-Shamiya".

The clashes extended to the villages of the occupied canton of Afrin, causing deaths between the two sides.

How did HTS mercenaries enter the occupied canton of Afrin?

In the early hours of yesterday evening, the "Al-Sham Legion" mercenaries withdrew from the villages of Sherawa district, south of the center of the occupied city of Afrin, and were replaced by the "Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham" mercenaries, who started a major military campaign against the mercenaries of the so-called "National Army", to be able to The control of the al-Ghazawiya crossing, which separates the villages of Afrin canton and the city of Idlib, in addition to the control of the crossing of the village of Deir Ballut, located in the Janders district along the border strip with Turkey.

 

After midnight on Saturday, the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" managed to enter the center of Janders district, and extended their control over all the villages of the district, and headed towards the center of the city of Afrin, after the Turkish occupation army withdrew from the entrance to the city to its bases.

The ongoing clashes between the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" and the "National Army" mercenaries of Turkey led to mass escapes of residents in the countryside of the occupied Afrin canton.According to private sources, a tripartite meeting took place between the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" and the "National Army" under the auspices of Turkish intelligence, however they did not reach a joint agreement, and after that, "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" managed to control several villages in the countryside of Afrin.

Observers say that one of the outcomes of the Astana meeting was replacement of the mercenaries of the "National Army" with mercenaries of (Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham) in the areas occupied by Turkey in northern Syria.

Yesterday, HTS's Abu Muhammad al-Julani announced a military campaign against the "National Army" mercenaries in the areas of Afrin, Azaz, Marea, al-Bab and Jarabulus.

Some sources confirmed the deployment of more than 300 mercenaries of (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) in the villages of (Fafertin and Bazira), in addition to the previous concentration of HTS members in the village of Basoufan and the Sheikh Aqil area in the southern countryside of Afrin, after a meeting with the leaders of the Turkish occupation factions in the city of Sarmada, Idlib, under Turkish auspices.

Where the two parties agreed to reposition the mercenaries of (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) on the fronts of the northern and eastern countryside of Aleppo and facilitate their movements in the occupied areas of Afrin, al-Bab, and Jarablus.

The new distribution of terrorist factions, led by (Huras al-Din - Hayat Tahrir al-Sham), comes within the framework of Turkish plans to establish a black belt of terrorist elements in the contact lines from the southern countryside of Afrin to the axes of Manbij and the western countryside of Kobani.
