9th Conference PYD continues

The work of the 9th conference of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) entered its third day, after extending the duration of the congress for another day. As a result of her inability to complete the counting of votes for members of the General Party Council, it is scheduled to end today with a final statement, with the completion of vote counting and the election of the Party Discipline Committee.

The conference, which was held under the slogan "In the spirit of the people's revolutionary war, we will defeat the occupation and build a democratic Syria", during the past two days dealt with reading and discussing the report of the party's work and activities during the last session, ratification of the internal system, the election of the joint presidency "Asia Abdullah and Saleh Muslim", voting for candidates for the council general.

The work of the conference, which has entered its third day, continues with the counting of votes for the election of the General Council of the party, which is composed of 145 members.

It is scheduled to continue the work of the conference to elect a disciplinary committee for the party, and to come up with a final statement of the conference. The conference was scheduled to last for two days, Saturday and Sunday, but it was decided yesterday to extend it for a third day.
