KJK's Training Committee issued a statement, blessing the Kurdish Language Day, which falls on the fifteenth of May, in particular to the contributors to teaching the Kurdish language, leader Abdullah Ocalan, freedom fighters, Kurdish mothers, and teachers of the Kurdish language, And for all Kurdish students.

The statement stressed the importance of language, saying: " Now great struggle is being waged, led by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, against the regime of denial pursued by the Turkish occupation state regarding the identity, language and existence of the Kurdish people, despite attempts to deny and exterminate the people."

Today the PKK movement is the identity of the free Kurds, and the Kurdish language is one of the oldest languages ​​and sources in the world Ocalan says that the Kurdish people are one of the oldest peoples of Mesopotamia.

The Training Committee pointed out that according to the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdish people in many regions of the world have become the owner of gains and achievements, where the best example of this is education in the Kurdish language, by the Kurdistan liberation movement and the Makhmour camp.

Most notably, in this camp, despite the weak capabilities, schools for teaching the Kurdish language were opened, and special vocabulary was prepared.

The committee also stated: “On May 15, 1932, Jaladat Ali Badrakhan and his companions issued the first newspaper in the Syrian capital, Damascus, called “Hawar.” Based on this historical foundation, the Kurdish liberation movement has taken great steps in this field, and made great progress, and increased the number of newspapers, magazines, books and the opening of television stations, so we remember once again all those who contributed to the development of the Kurdish language with appreciation and respect.

It explained, "At this time when the Kurdish Language Day is celebrated, the Turkish occupying state is trying to occupy the Kurdish areas," calling at the conclusion of its statement, "Every Kurdish person with a historical mindset, knows very well that the greatest enemy of the people is the Turkish state, so every honorable Kurd who seeks freedom must rise up against the attacks of the Turkish occupation, at this sensitive stage in which the fate of our people is revealed.
