The citizen, Akram Estik, was martyred in Turkish drone attack south of the city of Kobani this morning.

NEWS DESK - KOBANI

The citizen Akram Estik from Bakur Kurdistan, who went to Rojava in response to the general alarm in 2014 during the attack of ISIS mercenaries on Kobani.

The martyr Akram Estik, in his fifties, is married and has a number of children. He spent most of his life in the service of the Kurdish cause and the Kurdistan liberation movement.

The Turkish authorities also arrested him for ten years in the nineties of the last century, in addition to having a son detained in Turkish prisons.

His funeral is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday, during a ceremony to be held at the Shrine of Martyr Dijla at 14:00.

It is noteworthy that a Turkish drone targeted the city of Kobani with two raids, one on the Aleppo road south of the city, and the other in the new Kobani neighborhood.
