Internal Security Forces find IEDs of ISIS remnants in Raqqa

The official website of the Internal Security Forces - North and East Syria said that their forces "received yesterday, Tuesday, May 10, dozens of explosive materials and ammunition belonging to the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS near the old al-Hal market (vegetable market) in the center of Raqqa."

It added, "After receiving a report to one of our centers in the city, that there were explosive materials under the rubble of a building near the old al-Hal market, our forces immediately and members of Demining Team rushed to the aforementioned place, where the Demining Team began searching the place after members of our forces imposed a cordon around the building to ensure that citizens do not approach the place for their own safety.

After inspecting the entire site, the Demining Team began examining and detecting the objects, and it turned out that, according to the site:

– Filling mortar shell number (18)

- Stuffing pusher (15)

One (1) hand grenade

The site also confirmed that it was moved to designated places for later destruction.
