​​​​​​​ Muhammad Khair Sheikho: When ISIS attacked Kobani, Turkey did not move a finger

 Last Friday morning, the Turkish occupation state bombed the city of Kobani with artillery, causing damage to citizens' property.

 On this subject, the co-chair of the Executive Council in the city of Manbij and its countryside, Muhammad Khair Sheikho, stressed that the Turkish state, as usual, deliberately undermined security and stability in north and east Syria, using all means  to sow fear and terror in the hearts of citizens.

 Sheikho added, "The series of violations by the Turkish occupier in the region continues, whether by targeting defenseless citizens, places of worship and health centers, or blocking the Euphrates River from the region, which negatively affected agricultural crops, electric power and livestock."

 Referring to the bombing of the city of Kobani, Sheikho said: "Among the new crimes added to his crime record is the targeting of the populated neighborhoods of the city of Kobani, with artillery, which led to damage to citizens' property, in addition to injuries among their ranks."

 He continued, "When ISIS mercenaries attacked the city of Kobani on September 15, 2014, Turkey did not move a finger, but after the liberation of the city, it targeted the people of the city who liberated their city themselves."

 Sheikho believes that the Turkish occupation state's targeting of the city of Kobani aims to expand its occupation, taking advantage of the world's preoccupation with the Russian-Ukrainian war to achieve its goals.

 Sheikho held the international community responsible for its silence regarding the criminal acts carried out by the Turkish occupation state against the people of north and east Syria.

 Sheikho concluded his speech by saying: "In the name of the democratic civil administration in Manbij and its countryside, we denounce and condemn this criminal act against the people of the city of Kobani, and we stand in solidarity with our people in the city of Kobani."
