PYD: we will support our sons in their heroic resistance

General Council of PYD issued a statement to public opinion about the genocidal attacks launched by Turkish occupation state on the legitimate defense zones, that reads:

"In the light of comprehensive attack against our people and freedom fighters by Turkish fascism in agreement with KDP and with the direct participation of Roj mercenary, and instead of KNC standing against this policy of genocide, it accuses our party of burning its offices and of terrorism, and this is an admission of the extent of its complicity with the enemies of our people, that it is using the same language and behavior."

The statement continued, "Kurdish National Council, which has not yet dared to issue a statement against Turkish occupation of the occupied territories and is still linked to Syrian coalition that practices a policy of extermination against our people in Afrin and Serê kani, is not difficult for it to attack a party that led a revolution that gave thousands of martyrs."

"Instead of declaring its allegiance to the hostile policies against the Kurdish people, General Secretariat of Kurdish National Council should have stood by its people and understood and interacted with their patriotic reactions, and called on KDP officials to stop agreeing with Turkish fascist state."

'Attacks target our existence and identity'

The statement stressed, "We are under attack targeting our existence, and what is happening today in Kurdistan mountains is a war of existence and a war of identity, and whoever does not feel and does not realize what the situation is, history will not pardon him, so we must confront it, otherwise we will lose an entire century. Therefore, we call on the Kurdish political forces to take a strict stance towards anyone who wants to play with the fate and future of our people in exchange for cheap deals."

'We will support our guerrilla sons'

The statement stressed, "We, Democratic Union Party, renew our rejection of the policy of collusion and condemn the shameful stance of Kurdish National Council, and we affirm once again that just as Guerilla was a support and a shield for their people in Kobani, Hewler, Kerkuk, Mahabad and Amed, we will also support our sons in their heroic resistance."

The statement stressed, "Today is the day to defend our dignity and existence, so we call on our people in the four parts of Kurdistan to stand united with the freedom fighters against the policy of treachery and extermination."
