The recent attack of ISIS mercenary cells on Al-Sina’a prison in Al-Hasakah revealed the extent of their danger to the region and the world, not to mention their families in the camps in northern and eastern Syria, especially Al-Hol camp, which are time bombs, amid international leniency regarding the ISIS file.

'ISIS is a political project par excellence'

In this context, Farhan Hajj Issa, head of the Council of the Future Syria Party in the Euphrates region, said: "The regional states had a prominent role in the emergence of organizations such as ISIS to achieve political interests in the region, especially the Turkish state.

He continued: "Turkey is trying to achieve political issues by investing in the Islamic religion, therefore it was necessary to intervene and distort our movement that called for democracy through such organizations, especially ISIS.”

Hajj Issa confirmed that ISIS was created to be an impenetrable dam against the democratic developments and changes that Syria was heading towards.

Hajj Issa explained that ISIS appeared to create chaos in the Middle East because of the crimes and destruction it committed in the region and its attempt to build its alleged state in northern and eastern Syria. Accordingly, it poses a great danger to the interests of peoples in the Middle East, especially in Syria.

Farhan Hajj Issa pointed out that "ISIS is a political project par excellence, and many countries have interests in such a project."

He said: "The extremist ideology that ISIS wanted to spread in the region is more dangerous than its military presence through its sleeper cells, despite the end of its existence geographically, the thought that is considered time bombs that are liable to explode at any moment through the capture and cells of ISIS located in al-Hol camp."

'All countries should ease the burden on the Autonomous Administration'

The presence of ISIS remnants poses a great danger to the people of the region, the Autonomous Administration, the Middle East, and the world at large, through its attempts to carry out terrorist operations in various regions.

The head of the Council of the Future Syria Party in the Euphrates region, Farhan Hajj Issa, praised the role played by the People’s Protection Units, the Women’s Protection Units, and the Syrian Democratic Forces in confronting and eliminating ISIS, and said, “States must take a stand on the issue of ISIS in the region, because the people of the region have deterred the threat of ISIS.”  They defended all of humanity, while now they are under the threat of this terrorism."

Regarding the position of the countries, Hajj Issa said: "We note that the countries that have citizens affiliated with ISIS are distancing themselves from communicating with these people."

Regarding the Future Syria Party’s position regarding the ISIS file, Hajj Issa said: “We in the Future Syria Party believe that there should be an international approach to this file, and that countries adopt the return of their nationals from ISIS in northern and eastern Syria,” stressing that “the Autonomous Administration works according to its capabilities.”

Hajj Issa stressed, "The ISIS file is an international issue. All countries must hold these people accountable and ease the burden on the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, because these pose a threat to the Autonomous Administration and the people of the region, as we saw what happened in Ghweran prison and al-Hol camp. The people of the region are still paying the price and defending  the world in their own right.”
