Afrin citizen abducted for the third time

A citizen from the Afrin city of Jinderes was abducted by the 'Samarqand Brigade' of the Turkish occupation forces for the third time as ransom demanded.

According to information obtained by ANHA, Mohamed Khalil Nuri, 37, from the village of Kefer Dufra of the Jinderes district of Afrin Canton was abducted on 8 April by the security Branch of the so-called 'Samarqand Brigade' affiliated to the Turkish occupation forces.

Sources from Afrin noted this is the third time Mohamed Khalil Nuri to be abducted as he was abducted previously on the charge of serving the Self-Defense Service during the Autonomous Administration prior to the occupation of the canton by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenary groups.

Mohamed was taken to the Military Court office in the city as ransom is asked by the mercenaries.

Since Afrin was occupied by Turkey and mercenary groups in 2018 such cases among many others are very common in the canton that is swept by disorder and anarchy.
