Turkish army used thermobaric bombs in Werkhele

After the defeat inflicted upon the Turkish occupation army in Gara it carried out attacks in Zab, Metia and Avashin where every evil species of weapons were used by the second largest NATO Ally against the fighters and nature.

On 29 December Member of the Central Command of Peoples Defense Forces told the ANF news agency that five types of weapons were documented that were used by the Turkish occupation army in the Medya Defense Zones.

In turn co-chair of the Kurdistan Nationalist Congress Ahmed Karamus said in an interview with the same agency on 5 February that 322 times the chemical weapons were used by the Turkish army in aerial and ground raids on Kani Masi, Avashin and Metina. Karamus said a report was compiled and sent to 40 countries all over the world.

Karamus added 550 villages were affected by the use of chemical weapons. Saying this goes on amid a shameful international silence.

In a statement released by Media o=Office of the Peoples' Defense Forces in 2021. According to the outcomes 40 fighters of the guerrilla forces were martyred by chemical weapons as new evidences emerged after the snow melted on mountains in trenches. Evidences show war crimes were committed by the Turkish occupation army in those areas. These evidences include the use of the internationally outlawed thermo baric bombs.   

These kind of bombs were used on a large scale after the Second World War in Iraq and Afghanistan. These are produced by the United States of America and Russian Federation. A report released by the Human Rights Organization dubbed this kind of bombs as very dangers.

Information obtained by the Media Office of the Peoples' Defense Forces show that the Turkish occupation army used this kind of bombs against the guerrilla fighters. They were dropped from the air and used by the ground forces.

Guerrilla fighters in Werkhele an Gire Sor said these bombs were used '' after a loud explosion a quake takes place as if it were an earthquake''.
