​​​​​​​  Jaafar: Building wall between  Şengal and Rojava is a continuation of Yazidi genocide plan

 In conjunction with the Kurdistan Democratic Party's mobilization of its forces in the Medya's legitimate defense areas, the outgoing Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, ordered the building of a cement wall between  Şengal and Rojava to separate them, which provoked condemning reactions.

 The co-chair of the Legislative Council of Afrin region, Suleiman Jaafar, spoke to our agency on the matter.  Jaafar returned to 2014, specifically the attack of ISIS mercenaries on  Şengal, and their killing of men and raping women and children in front of the eyes of the Iraqi army and the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, saying: "We saw the brutality of ISIS mercenaries during their attack on  Şengal and the brutality that was planned with the aim of eliminating the Yazidi presence in  Şengal.  However, the response of the People's Protection Units, the Women's Protection Units and the guerrilla to this attack thwarted these plans."

 He added, "With Şengal recovering from the consequences of 2014, the Kurdistan Democratic Party concluded with the Iraqi government on November 9, 2020, an agreement against the Autonomous Administration in Şengal to stifle it and destroy its gains and complete what ISIS could not do."

 Jaafar added, "Recently, those parties saw that their second plan had failed, and realized that the relations between Şengal and northern and eastern Syria were good and peaceful, so they conspired again to cut those relations by building a wall 250 km long and 3 to 4 meters high."

 Jaafar referred to the policy of the Iraqi army, "The Iraqi army sought many times to destabilize the region, as it tried to launch an attack on Khansur, which is affiliated with Şengal , and to exercise violence against the youth of that region, but the Şengali their adherence to the option of resistance prevented the Iraqi army from making any progress."

 And about the complicity of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with the Turkish occupation state and the Iraqi government, Jaafar said that "the authority in the hands of the Democratic Party in Southern Kurdistan will collapse, because the mentality in which the democrat clings to power is based on the dispersal of the Kurds and their non-unification."

 Suleiman Jaafar noted that the Turkish occupation state is working with the help of several parties, including the Kurdistan Democratic Party, on the siege of Rojava, "as the features of that plan appeared several times by launching attacks on the legitimate defense areas, and after its failure there, the occupation ordered the Democratic Party and the Iraqi government to build a wall under the pretext  fighting smugglers, with the aim of separating the two regions."

 Jaafar affirmed at the conclusion of his speech that "the scheme of the Turkish occupation and its followers will fail, as all of their previous schemes failed."
