The KDP's attack is suicide

 On March 26, the Foreign Relations Committee of the Kurdistan Community announced that it had obtained information that the Democratic Party had joined the attacks of the occupying Turkish state against Guerilla, actively participated in them this year. He indicated the possibility of carrying out provocative operations to involve the KDP in the occupation attacks on the legitimize these attacks.  In its statement, the Foreign Relations Committee called on the parliament in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) and the public opinion to warn the KDP.

 A member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Khalil Othman, and the co-chair of the Union of Intellectuals of Al-Jazira Region, Kurdiyar Durai, commented on the statement of the Kurdistan Society Organization, saying that it;  If the KDP joins such a dirty scheme, it is suicide for it.  Both Othman and Derai pointed out the importance of national unity lest the Kurds be deprived of their rights at a time when global balances are changing.  They stressed that the Kurdistan Democratic Party's alliance with the Turkish state would lead to an abyss.

 'This war will not be a fratricidal war, but a 'suicide'

 A member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Khalil Osman, stated that the occupying Turkish state is working ceaselessly to eliminate the Kurdish people's gains, and explained that the people had expressed, during the past Nowruz, a link to the leader Ocalan and the Kurdistan Workers Party, "We have seen recently that the enemy wants to commit massacres through the KDP. Within the context of this dirty scheme, the PKK would be surrounded and the KDP's joining in the attacks would be legalized by killing the Peshmerga and planning some assassinations.

  We never wish for such a war to break out;  Because the enemy of the Kurds will be victorious.  It would also be a huge problem, not just for one part of Kurdistan;  but for four parts.  The truth is that whoever fights on the side of the enemy against his own people will also destroy himself, so this war will not be a war between brothers, but a suicide.

 'The Turkish state wants in its first centenary to eliminate the Kurdistan Workers' Party at the hands of the Kurdistan Democratic Party'

 Khalil Othman indicated that they are against the outbreak of any war between the Kurdish forces, and they support the National Congress and added: “The stronger the PKK today, the stronger the KDP will be. The KDP should look at it from this perspective. We are getting stronger when we unite.

 We are witnessing a third world war, a war is raging between Ukraine and Russia and the global balances are changing.  The Turks are preparing accordingly.  Next year, 2023, they will enter a new century;  Just as they exterminated the Armenians while establishing their republic, they will now want to eliminate the Kurds.  They realize that the Kurds have organizations, can resist and have enough strength to defend themselves, that is why they want the PKK to be eliminated by the KDP.”

 Othman continued his speech, saying: "This is not the first time that the Kurdistan Democratic Party stands by the enemies of the Kurds and it will not be the last, in this era in which the Third World War is erupting and the world is being redesigned anew, the Kurds will win as much as they are united. When  Iraq launched an attack on Iran in the eighties led by Saddam, the Kurdistan Democratic Party attacked Iran's Kurds. The Halabja massacre took place eight years after this war."

 'Today is Unity Day'

 Khalil Othman issued this warning: "This potential war will benefit the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement, inflict genocide on the Kurds and cause the annihilation of all our achievements. We should further strengthen and guarantee the achievements we have achieved today. Today is the day of unity, and just as the people demonstrated their unity in Nowruz,  We hope that the Kurdish parties will also unite."

 A member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Khalil Othman, concluded his speech with this call: "Our people must be vigilant about possible provocations and attacks on the PKK. A possible war would be treacherous for the Kurds. The Kurds today are pioneers in the Middle East with their projects, so  They want to eliminate this project, and the AKP and the National Movement are the ones who want it the most."

 'Achievement is at risk'

 For his part, a member of the Al-Jazira Union of Intellectuals, Kurdiyar Derai, explained that the achievements that the Kurdish people made great sacrifices in order to achieve are at risk, and he continued, "The latest news circulating about the Kurdistan Democratic Party is really unfortunate, because the Kurdish people have made great sacrifices during  the course of history. If we look at Başur, we cannot forget the massacres committed against the Kurdish people, such as the massacres of Halabja and Anfal, meaning that the achievements that were made were achieved with great sacrifices and high prices. But these achievements are now in danger of simply falling into the hands of the occupying Turkish state.

 Durai also explained that the century that passed since the Kurdish people, who were deprived of their rights, has gone through struggle, but these struggles have been eliminated one after the other, due to the Kurds' failure to unite in the face of enemy attacks.   Derai continued: "Today we are crossing into a new century. The fascist Turkish state is preparing to deprive the Kurdish people of their rights. We, the intellectuals, have called many times that Kurdish national unity and the Kurdistan National Congress are necessary for the Kurdish people to obtain their rights in the new century and that they should be a political balance strategy between the Kurdish military forces."

 Kurdiyar Derai continued, saying: "We cannot blame the Turkish state, because it is an enemy. But the methods applied by the Kurdistan Democratic Party serve the occupied Turkish state, especially when looking at the statement issued by the Kurdistan Society on March 26, in which it is stated that the party is preparing to launch a major attack on the PKK and guerrilla. These preparations can be described as 'suicide', because our people have not forgotten the tragedies caused by the war that broke out between brothers in Kurdistan in the nineties."

 The danger to Başûr

 Derai explained that the KDP has already resorted to provocative practices and continued, "If the KDP engages in the attack on freedom guerrilla, it will lose the achievements made in Başûr, and the independence of Başûr will be eliminated as well. The central Iraqi government and the Turkish state are already suppressing it."

  He made this call: "The main reason is that the parties in Başûr are not united, and that clan and family interests are important to them. This is what caused them to forget the strategic interests of the Kurdish people. We, the intellectuals, renew our permanent call, and we call on the Kurdistan Democratic Party not to get involved in this war.  I also call on the parliament in Başûr, political parties and civil organizations to stand up to this dirty war and not allow the KDP to serve the Turkish state."

 "The PKK is the people's hope"

 Kurdiyar Derai pointed out that the main reason behind the Turkish state's hostility to the freedom movement;  It is its leadership for the Kurdish people and the peoples of the Middle East. He mentioned that the KDP is making a historical mistake and said: “The KDP is making a huge historical mistake, because the PKK is the hope of the people and the people see themselves within the ranks of the PKK. In Nowruz 2022, the call of all Kurds was clarified.  Inside and outside the country, they called for achieving the physical freedom of the leader Ocalan and removing the name of the freedom movement from the 'terror list', because everyone realizes that the freedom movement led during this century the struggle to defend the rights of the Kurdish people and all oppressed peoples.

 At the end of his speech, Kurdiyar Duraii called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party, saying, “In conclusion, I would like to send this message to the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In Kurdish culture, there is a story about a rooster whose owner asks him first not to shriek and then to become like a chicken, and if he does not do what is asked of him, he will be slaughtered, and for this  The reason was he did what was asked of him, but when he was asked to lay eggs and he could not, they slaughtered him. The Turkish state treats the KDP as a rooster in this story. Mr. Masoud Barzani should be aware of this in particular. History will not forgive anyone."
