Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement of opinion on the operation carried out by the Free Women Units - Star (YJA - Star).

Statement reads:

In the context of the revolutionary phase of the Khabur epic in the Metîna region:

Our fighters in the ranks of the Free Women's Units (YJA-Star) carried out a qualitative operation at 13:00 on March 6 against the Turkish occupation army stationed in the Gari Azad Valley.

The operation, in which our fighters targeted an artillery point of the Turkish occupation army, resulted in the killing of two Turkish soldiers, in addition to the complete destruction of the point and the enemy’s artillery.

Female fighters in the Free Women's Units (YJA Star) carried out this successful operation, on the occasion of the 8th of March, International Women's Day.
