​​​​​​​Distributing 10,000 plants to the people on the occasion of leader's birth in Euphrates region

Announcing the start of distributing plants to the people on the occasion of leader Abdullah Ocalan birth, came months after Environment Department in Euphrates region launched a wide afforestation campaign, through which it planted tens of thousands of various tree plants in the region, with the aim of afforestation and changing its climate.

The campaign begins on the 30th of current month, to be planted on the 2nd of next April, on the occasion of the birth of the leader.

The Environment Department in Euphrates region has allocated to each district its share of tree plants to be delivered to the communes that will be distributed to the people, and the trees will be distributed to the districts according to the green spaces in each district. which is next:

* Ain Issa district, 1500 trees.

* Sreen district, 2000 trees.

* Shran district, 2000 trees.

* Al-Qannaya district, 1500 trees.

* Kobani district, 1500 trees.

* Chalabiya district, 1500 trees.

As for the type of trees that will be distributed, they are "linden, cypress, eucalyptus, and palm", in addition to some pistachio trees, to be planted in the forests in the area.

In an interview with ANHA agency, co-chair of Environment Department in Euphrates region, Aref Bali, said, "Our goal in tree distribution campaign is to decorate our areas with trees, the wars affected it a lot and it is time for the region to regain its beauty, and our choice of leader's birthday to start planting trees is because the leader loved nature and called us to be environmentally friendly."

Aref Bali appealed to the people to spread the culture of afforestation, to preserve the trees that are planted, not to be cut down and to protect them because they are the most appropriate solution to purify the atmosphere.
