Gunmen assassinate " head of Local Council" of Al-Sanamayn city

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that unknown gunmen assassinated " head of Local Council" of al-Sanamayn city in northern Dara'a countryside, by targeting him with bullets in the city.

This comes a week after the assassination of "head of Local Council" of Jassem city, when unknown gunmen shot dead the "head of the Local Council" in Jassem city in Dara'a countryside, which led to his death.

His murder came hours after Jassem city council issued a directive to city's residents who have a tenant, worker from the outside of Jassem city, demanding to register their personal cards as soon as possible.

Thus, the outcome of the attacks in Dara'a, since the beginning of January, according to SOHR' documentation, has reached 101, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and caused the death of 82 people, are: 42 civilians, and 30 soldiers affiliated to Damascus government and collaborators with the security services and members of so-called "Settlements", 5 former militants who made "Settlements" and did not join any military party after that, and a former ISIS mercenary, 3 unidentified people, and an element of pro-Russian militants.
