Kongra Star’s Coordination congratulates with the advent Newroz

Kongra Star’s Coordination, on the occasion of Newroz 2022, issued a written statement to the public opinion, a copy of which we have received.

The statement reads:

On this occasion, the Coordination extended its warmest congratulations and warmest congratulations to "the leader Abdullah Ocalan, all our people of Kurdistan and the peoples of the region, the families of the martyrs and the people who love goodness and peace, and YPG, YPJ, SDF and Asayish who protect the region with all its components."

Kongra Star Coordination recalled all the martyrs of Newroz in the person of the martyr Mazloum Dogan, the martyr Rahshan and Sawsan and all the martyrs of freedom, and affirmed, "We stand in reverence before the souls of the righteous martyrs who fought bravely by sacrificing their pure souls to illuminate the path to victory and to achieve freedom and peace."

Pointing to what Newroz represents, "which is a symbol of freedom, equality, and salvation from oppression and tyranny. The resistance and steadfastness of our people proved to the Turkish occupation and to all the enemies of the Kurdish people that the will and struggle of the Kurdish people will always prevail, and all plans and endeavors of its enemies to undermine its gains will fail." It renewed the pledge "we made to the martyrs of democracy and freedom that we will continue their struggle until victory is achieved."

It pointed to what Newroz represents for the Kurds, saying: " Newroz holiday is the holiday of freedom and peace, where our Kurdish people celebrate in parts of Kurdistan, and in all regions of their presence in the world its national and historical day, which expresses in the historical conscience of the Kurdish people hope, life and resistance, and symbolizes steadfastness. On freedom and truth, this feast that began with Kawa al-Hadad revolutionary, toil, over injustice and tyranny, and raising the torch of freedom high.

Since ancient times, the Kurdish people have resisted oppression and tyranny, adhering to life and freedom. Newroz is the most important occasion in which the Kurds express their free will, their rejection of oppression, domination and subservience, and their choice of life, freedom and dignity.

Kongra Star Coordination stated that north and east Syria are fighting the battle of existence, "We must resist together all the conspiracies being hatched against us, in the four parts of Kurdistan, and on all the struggle arenas, clinging to the values ​​of resistance and coexistence, and relying on the approach of the brotherhood of peoples in order to cross our people to safety in the midst of all these threats and dangers that surround us, let us make Newroz in 2022, a Newroz for the physical liberation of the leader, because achieving freedom and democracy is possible through the freedom of the leader.

It hoped that "Newroz will be the beginning of a new phase of struggle, struggle, love and peace until Syria reaches a decentralized democratic state, and that the sacred flame of Newroz will remove the darkness of oppression and occupation."
