Two IEDs exploded with 2 Damascus forces’ patrols on Daraa- Damascus highway

Two successive explosions occurred with two explosive devices, as a result of targeting two separate patrols of the "Political Security Division" of the Damascus government on the international highway "Damascus - Daraa", amid confirmed information about casualties and a security alert.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that two successive explosions occurred as a result of targeting two separate courses of the "Political Security Division" of the Damascus government with two explosive devices, near Al-Iman Gas Station and Khirbet Ghazaleh Bridge on the international highway "Damascus - Daraa", amid confirmed information about casualties, some of whom are in serious condition. Meanwhile, the area is witnessing a security alert by the Damascus government forces.

Thus, the outcome of the targeting in Daraa, since the beginning of January, according to the observatory’s documentation, has reached 89, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and caused the death of 70 people: 37 civilians, and 28 elements of the Damascus government forces, collaborators with the security services and elements of “settlement”. 3 former local militants who made "settlements" and did not join any military party after that, a former ISIS mercenary and 3 unidentified people.
