Combing operation to pursue ISIS mercenaries south al-Hasakah

As part of its campaign to pursue ISIS mercenary cells in north and east Syria, the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces began a combing operation in the south of al-Hasakah canton.

ANHA’s correspondent in al-Shaddadi district reported that the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces had started a combing operation in the southern region of al-Hasakah canton, as part of their campaign to pursue ISIS mercenary cells in the area.

Since midnight yesterday, the forces began combing operations, starting from the town of al-Haddadiyah, passing through al-Shaddadi, to the al-Dashisha district, where the area is witnessing a curfew amid the closure of shops and markets.

This combing operation comes within the framework of the campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces to pursue ISIS mercenary cells in the region, after the mercenaries launched an attack on the Sina’a prison in the city of Hasakah, which includes detainees from ISIS mercenaries on the 20th of last January.
