In a statement released today, the Kongra Star Coordination in Rojava offered congratulations on all women the occasion of the International Woman's Day remembering fighters too.

The statement runs:

''The International Woman's Day is the outcome of fight of millions of women all over the world. We congratulate all women in Rojava and North eastern Syria and in the whole parts of Kurdistan and to the women all over the world. To mothers of martyrs and to all detainees held at the jails of tyrannies and those fighting in trenches to protect women and community.

On this occasion we greet leader Abdullah Ocalan the leader of the democratic nation, and the first and loyal comrade and the one that advocates the idea of free life, who said that the 21 century is going to be that of women''.

We call and appeal to all women to take to the streets on this day and to raise voices loud against any kind of annihilation until attaining justice, equality and democracy''.
