A member of the Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council, Khalil Abdi, told our agency,: at a time when the Turkish occupation state continues its crimes and continuous attacks against the people of the region, amid international silence that serves as a green light for it to commit more massacres.

Khalil Abdi stressed that "the Turkish state's attacks on northern and eastern Syria did not stop despite the ceasefire agreement, and with the presence of the Russian state, which sees itself as the "guarantor" to stop these Turkish violations of the region, which continue to this day."

He added, "To this day, civilian homes are subjected to indiscriminate bombardment from the Turkish side and before the eyes of the Russian bases in the area, which in turn seek to pressure our forces to concede to Russia and the Syrian regime."

It is noteworthy that after the Turkish occupation attack in October 2019 on the areas of Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain and Girê Spî / Tal Abyad and their occupation, two cease-fire agreements were signed under the auspices of the United States and another under Russia, but the Turkish occupation state has not adhered to either of them to this day.

In the city of Kobani alone, our agency has documented during the past 5 months the death of 12 citizens, including 3 women, and the injury of 19, including 5 women.

The Russian and American dealings with the Syrian file are twofold.

Abdi criticized the double standards of Russia and the United States of America, and continued: "The forces that consider themselves "guarantors" do not want stability in the region."  These conflicts are a third world war and will not end until these two countries achieve their interests.”

A member of the Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council pointed out that the people of the region depended on their own strength: "For our part, in the Syrian Democratic Council, we rely primarily on our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, the force of the components of the Syrian Democratic Council.  And the people of north and east Syria, which defend the security and stability of the region, so there is no fear for the region with its presence,” adding, “Our goal now is to hold a Syrian dialogue that brings the people of the region to one dialogue table to end the Syrian crisis.”
