Women’s Council decries Turkish occupation attack targeting car carrying citizens

on Thursday morning, a Turkish drone targeted a car carrying citizens on the Qamishlo-Amuda road, east of the Faruj resort, and it was coming from Amuda towards Qamishlo, injuring 4 people, including 3 women.

In a statement, the Women's Council in North and East Syria denounced the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE,Syria.

And its text stated: "In continuation of the Turkish state's aggressive approach towards peoples, especially the peoples of NE, Syria, a Turkish drone targeted a car on the Amuda-Qamishlo road, injuring four civilians, three of them were women."

The Women's Council in North and East Syria condemned "the ongoing brutal Turkish attacks on our areas, which aim to strike the state of co-existence and stability that North and East Syria enjoys with all its components."

It also called on the international community to break its silence, put an end to the crimes of the Turkish state, and consider Turkey as violated state that does not recognize international laws and norms.

The Women's Council in North and East Syria also called on "the sons and daughters of our people to unite and join hands together, especially humanitarian organizations and women's organizations, and to put pressure on the international community to shed light on the violations and crimes of the Turkish state occupying parts of our country, Syria, and to prosecute them for these crimes."
