Rojava students- teachers call for official recognition to Kurdish

On the International Mother Language Day corresponding to February 21  tens of A number of Kurdish students and teachers in Tal Tamr called for an official recognition to the Kurdish language.

In a statement Mohamed Nashwan Ibrahim said:

''everyone knows that Kurdish was forbidden in Rojava, but due to the sacrifices made every components is taught by its language in the region at large, nobody can obliterate our language. ''

The statement called for an international recognition to the Kurdish language.

In turn, the Education and Training Body in the Euphrates Region denounced attempts exerted by the Turkish occupation state in dealing with ethnicities the first of which Kurds, to wipe out the Kurdish language.

In a statement the Education and Training Body in the Euphrates Region said:

''we express our full support to all peoples whose languages are wiped out and denial at the hands of the fascist regimes.

All occupying countries of Kurdistan are adamant to eradicate the Kurdish language in every possible means.''

The statement noted the crimes and breaches committed by Turkish occupation state in occupied areas where at least 300 schools were closed after its indigenous people displaced.
