Pro - Turkish mercenaries abduct 9 citizens from occupied Afrin

Turkish backed groups kidnapped 9 citizens of the Rajo and Janders districts, occupied canton of Afrin, under false accusations to blackmail their families and forcing them to pay a ransom in order set them free.

A source from Janders district stated that the Turkish affiliated "Al-Sham Legion" mercenaries had abducted the 36-year-old citizen Shaker Sheikho Sheikho from the village of Jalma on charges and false pretexts to blackmail his relatives and force them to pay a ransom.

Another source from Rajo district said that mercenaries of the "Military Police" kidnapped the citizen Khalil Muhammad Mustafa (22 years), who is from the village of Baadina in Rajo district, after surrounding his house, and took him to their headquarters in the district, on charges of Previously dealt with Autonomous Administration

Two months ago, the Turkish backed Military Police had abducted Ajar Mustafa, Khalil Mustafa's brother, on the same charge, and he is still kidnapped by the mercenaries because his family was unable to pay the ransom for his release.

The source added that the mercenaries of the "Al-Hamzat Division" kidnapped 5 citizens, including an elderly woman and a woman from the village of Qadah in Rajo district, and took them to an unknown destination, while they are still kidnapped until now

The source revealed the names of the kidnapped: Hussein Muhammad Hamo (75 years), Salah Manan Sheikho, Shukri Hussein Bakir (50 years), Muhammad Muhammad Haider and Asia Hussein Musa (60 years).

It is worth noting that elderly Asya had previously been kidnapped and held in the Hawar Kilis prison of the mercenaries of "Sultan Murad" after occupying the city of Afrin in 2018, and she was released after being tortured and paying the ransom.
