​​​​​​​TEV DEM: Leader Ocalan freedom is the only guarantee to solve all the problems in the region

TEV DEM issued a statement on the 23 anniversary of the international conspiracy against leader Ocalan, that reads:

"First of all, we condemn and denounce the international conspiracy on its 23 anniversary, the conspiracy that countries and hegemonic powers participated against the Leader, which was called an international piracy operation because it is illegal. that the capitalist countries moved regionally and internationally within a joint diplomatic work to arrange the operation and in a comprehensive intelligence coordination in which many countries participated. Through this conspiracy, they wanted to strike the will and gains of our Kurdish people, strike the will of the cultures and societal moral values in the region, and destroy the hopes of the societies that call for freedom, justice and equality based on the principles of peoples' brotherhood and coexistence.

23 years of resistance and struggle shown by leader Ocalan in Imrali prison and the fascist Turkish state imposes the most severe political penalties of isolation, deprivation and psychological torture that are against the human rights laws, not allowing his family and lawyers to visit him, and not accepting visits and meetings of international health and human rights organizations and an anti-committee Torture to Imrali prison to meet with leader Abdullah Ocalan, these criminal political practices are considered contrary to all values.

Leader Ocalan represents the hope and will of free humanity and he struggles to build the peace process, democracy and constructive dialogue, and the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the only guarantee to solve all the outstanding problems in the region, but the terrorist government of justice and development, and the countries that planned the conspiracy did not pay any attention to that. Rather, they stressed the use of violence, support ISIS, and air strikes to commit more criminal acts. And the demographic changes carried out by Turkish occupation in the regions of Afrin, Serê kani and Girê Spî, and support the terrorist attack on Al-Sina'a prison in Hasaka, and the aim of the continuity of this conspiracy is to obliteration of Kurdish identity and denial of its existence.

And the resistance shown by leader Abdullah Ocalan in his prision and the joining of thousands of political prisoners to this resistance and tens of millions of peoples in the world to the Campaign of it is time for freedom to break the abstraction and break the isolation by adopting the philosophy of free life, the philosophy of democratic nation as the most appropriate and successful project to solve all the problems and crises in the region, and leader Abdullah Ocalan has become the main reason of all solutions in the region.

We as TEV DEM, we call on Kurdistan national political powers and civil society organizations to join the Freedom Campaign for Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

We also appeal to the free people and democrats in the world to stand in solidarity to demand the freedom of Leader Ocalan and work to thwart this conspiracy. And leader Abdullah Ocalan became a symbol of freedom not only for the Kurds, but for all peoples and components that see their freedom with the freedom of leader Ocalan.
