4th Conference of TEV DEM praises unity of components, calls for consolidation Self-protection

Speeches of TEV- DEM Conference shed light on the effective role of the movement in organizing and developing society on basis of the democratic nation’s idea.

Under the slogan "Democratic Culture Develops through Democratic Institutions", the fourth conference of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) continues in the Aram Tigran Center for Culture and Art in the town of Rmelan, in Qamishlo canton via words of the attendees, and reading assessments of leader Ocalan about the Democratic nation philosophy.

During his speech, Shibli pointed out that "The history of the Middle East is full of conspiracies that were hatched against them by the dominant powers, but the last conspiracy was hatched against the peoples and components of the region represented by the person of the leader Abdullah Ocalan with participation of many countries, such as Turkey which practices all forms of terrorism.

In turn, the co- chair of Executive Council in AANES noted the role of the Autonomous Administration in defending humanity from terrorism and mercenaries,by saying: "Our martyrs, and philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan, gave their lives to protect humanity from terrorism and genocide."

Al-Abd affirmed: "Whoever loves peace should return to the thought of the leader, as the stage that the Middle East and the whole world are going through is in urgent need to the idea of the democratic nation."

As for the spokesperson for the Kongra Star coordinator in Rojava, Ramzia Muhammad, she stressed on the resistance and struggle to face all attacks and conspiracies against NE Syria and combat the corruption within the Autonomous Administration institutions, and said: "The Autonomous Administration played an important and major role in finding solutions to all The people’s problems, but we should all join hands to develop it .”

Nuri Mahmoud the spokesperson for the People's Protection Units referred to the "Peoples of hammer " campaign, against ISIS cells attack on Al- Sina'a prison in the city of Hasaka, and added: "With the resistance of our forces and people, we managed to break the attack on the prison that was supported by the regional forces."

Mahmoud stressed that the recent attack on the prison showed the true face of fascism and the world powers, and said: "After thwarting the attack Turkey began launching attacks on Şengal, and western Kurdistan. These attacks confirmed that Turkey is the support ISIS terrorism

Mahmoud referred to the role of the Democratic Society Movement by saying: "The movement has an important role in developing social culture, so we find that this conference is very important for the success of principle of peoples' revolutionary war, and face all schemes in the region and end authoritarianism.”

The activities of the conference continue, closed to the media, to read the organizational situation and the annual report of the democratic society movement over the past three years.
