Jamal Sheikh Baqi: Turkey-Syrian government behind Ghweiran attack

On the latest ISIS assault on the Sina'a Prison in the Ghweiran Quarter of the city of Hasaka and the hands that gave support to the ISIS mercenary groups to do such an attack ANHA met Secretary General of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Jamal Sheik Baqi.

Jamal Sheikh Baqi said the ISIS cells cannot attack the Sina' Prison without a hand of support, indicating the plot was carried out and planned by the Turkish state and the Syrian government.

Sheikh Baqi said :'' after the defeat in Baghuz the last ISIS bastion by the Syrian Democratic Forces ISIS could no longer attack the SDF directly '' only isolated attacks were carried out and bombings, ISIS cannot engage in fronts as it was seen in the city of Hasaka days ago''.  

Sheikh Baqi said ''after the ISIS defeat Russia ought to deploy Syrian forces to the region and the call by Syrian intelligence to call for settlements in Deir, Shadadi and Raqqa to create disorder and mess in those areas but the scheme was aborted thanks to the strong relations in the region's peoples''.

Jamal Sheikh Baqi noted the attack that was carried out against the Sina'a Prison is not merely an attack by a cell of ISIS alone, but many parts and countries took part, '' we know very well that the Turkish state is the main ISIS supporter and it was it that supported ISIS cells to attack the Ghweiran Prison and planned it along with the Syrian government and its intelligence'.

On the aim of the Ghweiran attack Sheikh Baqi said ''it was to subvert the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and to re-activate the Syrian government associations in the region and to destabilize the region as well and the peace prevailing in North eastern Syria''. 

At the end Sheikh Baqi called on North eastern Syria people to be vigilant and be aware of the plots planned against the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and be ready always to confront such schemes and politics of adjacent countries and to prevent them the chance to subvert our gains made and the victories attained by the people of the region''.

Sheikh Baqi as well called on the international community to bear its responsibilities regarding the ISIS mercenaries and on ISIS countries of origin to repatriate their citizens from NES and suing them in their countries or in an international tribunal to be set in NES''.
